Today I accompanied my aunt and uncle, visiting from California, on a tour bus to the Plimouth Plantation, near Plymouth, Mass. (The spelling discrepancy is intentional, by the way – evidently in previous centuries it was accepted practice to spell phonetically and inconsistently.) The site features historical recreations of a Wampanoag community and the English settlement founded by passengers from a rather famous ocean voyage. I got some fascinating history lessons from my visit, and I took lots of pictures.
But I got home too late to do full justice to the experience, so join me over the fold for some cute animal pictures!
Bulls!
Chicks!
Billy Goat!
Spider Web! (Okay, it's not a cute animal, but I think it looks cool!)
Yes, even a Pootie! (Here's his story.)

From JanF:
This comment from NCrissieB in her Meta Monday Morning Feature diary, describes why the Tea Partiers are so convinced they will be victorious. The statistics will amaze you but this conclusion won't: "If every source you read, see, or hear says that, and everyone you know agrees, it's not idiocy to believe it's true."
