There was a time when I believed all the best about this country. Of course that goes back to before they shot JFK or lied us into war in Southeast Asia, and way before our embrace of torture and the trashing of the planet known as the Bush years. Yes, they lied to us about Vietnam every step of the way. We know this. We have irrefutable proof of it. The man who gave us that proof was called "the most dangerous man in America" by none other than Henry Kissinger, himself a notorious war criminal and confidant of Presidents.
Well you know not much has changed in America. Certainly not the secrecy...or the lies...or the love of war for no good reason.
They've made a hell of a documentary about Daniel Ellsberg. I've included the trailer for those of you in a hurry and a link where you can watch the whole thing for those of you who aren't. Now this is must see TV. Every American should see it.
The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers - Trailer
I urge you to watch the entire documentary. As American citizens, it's a very worthy investment of your time.
Watch the movie in its entirety here.
It's time to end the secrecy in our government...and the wars for no good reason.
Thank you Mr. Ellsberg for your service to our country.
