Wonder why a certain MSNBC Host can campaign and raise money on the stump for a potential President Candidate; plus have this candidate on his SHOW but Keith Olbermann gave money to three Democratic candidates...did not stump for them....did not endorse any of them directly on his show....but now, he is suspended without pay.
Things that make you go....ummmm....
Now, let's go back to January 2008. Candidate Barack Obama was engaged in what would best be described as the first real "probability" of an African-American being elected President in the United States. On the GOP side, Senator John McCain was starting to gain traction on his Presidential campaign for the GOP nomination.
BUT, there was talk about a spoiler for Senator McCain, from the South. A gentlemen that had a great connection with all types of people. He just happened to be a former Governor of a state that sent a candidate to the White House in 1992.
That candidate was current Fox News host, then Presidential Candidate....Mike Huckabee.
Moving on to were this is connected to Joe Scarborough....
Well, on January 2, 2008, Joe, Mike and Chuck Norris, engaged in a little known fundraiser on behalf of who....candidate Huckabee.
Here is a part of the article via the Dallas Morning News...
"It's unlike anything I've ever seen – and from Republicans," the Des Moines resident said via the January 2, 2008, Dallas Morning News article.
Voters may or may not elect former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee president. But say this about the man: He throws one devil of a party – especially for an ordained Southern Baptist minister running for the presidential nomination of a party more closely associated with country clubs than dance halls.
Then Mr. Huckabee showed up with a bass guitar. And a band, with MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on rhythm guitar. And they started playing "Sweet Home Alabama ." Mr. Norris stood to the side, hands in bluejeans pockets, bopping to the beat. The scene would be like a bad acid trip for a diehard Democrat."
Now, I have reported this on my blog "Reach Out Job Search" and this is very interesting.
So, Keith Olbermann can be suspended without pay over campaign donations to Democratic candidates before the election. Meanwhile....Joe Scarborough can give money (and lots of it) to GOP candidates across the county AND engage in stumping for a potential GOP Presidential candidate, while interviewing him on his show?
Here is the link...to that!
Any credit you MIGHT want to give to our blog....we would appreciate it! Thanks!
