Hi. I choose my pie fight incursions carefully, and it seems like a mighty fine time to rear my ugly head into this mess. So, whilst y'all were fighting, did anyone happen to notice that David Shuster is returning to the airwaves tomorrow night?
Yup, he said so himself on Facebook:
Ever since he was suspended from MSNBC in April for pursuing career opportunities with rival CNN, he's been the focus of a massive Twitter and Facebook campaign called #FreeShuster.
I'm ecstatic to have Mr. Shuster return to the airwaves. He's an excellent journalist and a great person. Hell, if you mention him on Facebook or send him a message, he'll personally respond to you. On his birthday a few months back, he responded to every single person who wished him well.
David will fill in for radio host Jim Bohannon tomorrow night from 10PM to 1AM. If you're a night owl like myself, stay up and give it a listen. It's a bittersweet victory for the #FreeShuster crowd (myself included). :)
Here's the link to the radio show, which streams live online and on over 350 radio stations across the country. Here's Shuster's Facebook and Twitter pages, if you want to interact with him.
And here are a few videos of Shuster in action, if you've forgotten:
