Today at 12.51pm, New Zealand time, there was a two minute silence to remember the people that were killed in the Earthquake that stuck one week ago today.
Hundreds of office workers and others at Wellington's Civic Square.
Urban Search and Rescuers from all the around the world pay their respects
Leader of the Opposition, Phil Goff, Prime Minister, John Key, Christchuch Mayor, Bob Parker and other officials take part in the 2 minute silence.
The New Zealand Flag at half mast at Parliment House during the 2 minute silence.
The death toll stands at 154. The Police expect the final toll to be around 240 which will make it one of New Zealand's worst peacetime disaster ever.
