There's no harm in asking questions, right?
Lou Dobbs:
I ask a question, and I am attacked from the extreme left as a quote-unquote birther. I mean, what the hell is that? When you can create a controversy by asking what seems to me still a perfectly commonsense question? It has been used in the extreme left to create a toxicity that is just unbelievable.

Dennis Kucinich:
Kucinich: No intent to seek impeachment of Obama over Libya
Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) is denying any plans to seek the impeachment of President Obama over the U.S. involvement in Libya.
Kucinich recently raised the question of whether Obama could be impeached for leading the U.S. into a conflict — to enforce a United Nations-backed no-fly zone — without going to Congress first.
“I asked the question as to whether that was an impeachable offense; that’s different than actually calling for an impeachment or inducing a resolution, which I am not intending to do,” Kucinich told Fox Business Network Thursday. “I am speaking to the limits of executive power.”

Lou Dobbs firmly believes that the President of the United States is an American citizen, but he thinks it's legitimate to question whether he was born in America.
The question of whether President Obama should be impeached for supporting a no-fly zone in Libya, that was requested by Libyans, supported by the UN Security Council and that comported with congressional notification within the required 48 hour time period is a question that ought to be asked in Dennis Kucinich's mind.
The legality of the President's support of a U.N. backed no-fly zone was well-covered in Gary Norton's diary:
Breaking: Obama Sends Libya War Powers Act Notice To Congress
The President sent his notification to Congress regarding the Libya situation in accordance with the War Powers Act. The law requires such a notification within 48 hours of commencing military actions.
Quite a bit of ink was spilled yesterday by folks suggesting the President was not complying with the War Powers Act because he had not notified Congress. But, of course, the criticism was premature and in this case unwarranted since the 48 time period had not yet elapsed. It has now, and his notice has been delivered.

Dennis Kucinich also believes that it is legitimate to fundraise on the idea of impeaching President Obama, even though nothing that the President did was remotely an impeachable offense.
Kucinich critique turns into push for funds
(CNN)- Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich is transforming his critique of President Obama's actions in Libya into a fundraising plea, asking supporters to decide whether they like President Obama or the Constitution more.
After calling the president's decision to act in Libya an "impeachable offense," Kucinich Monday posted a letter on his website asking supporters for help in "putting together a broad fundraising structure to make sure that I'll have the resources to continue to be a voice in the Unites States Congress."

It's official: What little respect I had for Dennis Kucinich is absolutely gone.
