The Tea Party Patriots are trying to organize mass visits to Congressional offices tomorrow at 12:30 PM. We predict the National Tea Party Rally of 4/28 will flop, just like their other antics.
But that hasn't stopped pyramid scheme guru Mark Meckler from trying to cash in on the hapless tea party masses.
So there you have it - a national grassroots rally, which ought to cost the price of a few blog posts, but instead Meckler & Co. shake the tin cup. We've seen information from the lawsuit between Tea Party Patriots and their bigfoot hunting software developer indicating the operation was taking in nearly $50,000 monthly at one point.
So ... where does that all go? Jenny Beth Martin's tax debt? Getting Meckler back to the lifestyle someone at the top of pyramid schemes is used to having?
There are rumblings from the state level people, who've been shaken down for their mailing lists and then received neither funding for local projects nor any results in D.C. That shakedown type behavior, stiffing their software developer Rob Gaudet, and coupling that with Meckler's hucksterish past does explain the Tea Party Patriots growth curve.
We're not gonna panhandle like Meckler, but we will ask that you go join the swelling ranks of everyday Americans who've had it with Meckler and his fraudulent "grassroots" organization. Just go to the Americans Against The Tea Party Facebook page - there are over 36,000 of us now, we've already passed the membership count for Tea Party Nation, but we've got a ways to go to catch up with the 120,000 victim Tea Party Patriots.
