I rarely wade into the I/P realm, but I thought this was important. Tzipi Livni, the Israeli opposition leader (Kadima Party), supports President Obama's speech last week and is very critical of Prime Minister Netanyahu for endangering American-Israeli relations with his harsh criticism of the President:
Tzipi Livni, leader of Israel’s opposition Kadima party, also backed Mr Obama’s two-state solution and accused Mr Netanyahu of putting Israel at risk in order to save his right-wing coalition.
“The prime minister has violated relations between Israel and the United States,” she said, speaking after Mr Obama’s speech but before the Oval Office meeting. “He has endangered the security of Israel and its power of deterrence.”

From the Jerusalem Post on May 20:
Opposition leader Tzipi Livni slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Friday for "harming the relationship" between Israel and the US.
"Netanyahu spoke about consensus," Livni said, "and if there is a consensus in Israel, it's that the relationship with the US is essential to Israel, and a prime minister that harms the relationship with the US over something unsubstantial is harming Israel's security and deterrence."

Livni added that such a prime minister should resign. "I am saying this loud and clear."

"An American president that supports the two-state vision is representing Israeli interests and is not anti-Israel," Livni said.

And yesterday in response to President Obama's speech to AIPAC:
"The principle of Israeli security and the need to reach the point of two national homelands, one of them the state of Israel... is primarily an Israeli interest,” she stated. She later said, “When Israel understands first and foremost what its own interests are, it can get support from any United States government.”
Livni warned that Israel needs good ties with the United States. “It is important to understand that the world is watching the relationship between Israel and the United States, especially those who still do not accept our existence here. Part of the state of Israel's power of deterrence is due to their understanding that we are working together.”
That is what makes Obama's message so important “not only for internal Israel politics, not only for internal American politics, but for the region,” she continued.

“Obama is representing a long-term American policy,” she said.

Mitt Romney said Obama threw Israel under the bus. Tzipi Livni essentially says "bullshit" to that charge.
