A falling out among right wing bozos? (no intended offense to clowns)
Get some popcorn and enjoy. It's Republican Wrestlemania!
In one corner, former Republican senator and long-time attempted destroyer of social security and many social programs, Alan ("the Right Wing Pig") Simpson.
Booooooooooooo!
In the other corner, long time opponent of any taxes, especially for the wealthy, and leader of the anti-tax pledge that damn near every Republican in Congress signed, Grover ("the Rich Man's Toady") Norquist.
Booooooooooooo!
Well it's clear the crowd dislikes both, and justifiably so.
The Right Wing Pig takes the first shot:
The former co-chairman of President Obama’s debt commission ripped anti-tax advocate Grover Norquist on Wednesday, blaming him for standing in the way of a bipartisan solution to the deficit.
“What kind of a nut is this guy?” former GOP Wyoming Sen. Alan Simpson said of Norquist.
The Hill: Frustrated deficit hawk rips Norquist
Norquist is no nut. The Rich Man's Toady knows exactly what he is doing. Destroying America and American livelihoods is part of the program for global big money.
Simpson told an audience at Wednesday’s Peter G. Peterson Foundation fiscal summit that Norquist was “some guy just wandering around the swamps taking a pledge from people when America was flush and then pushing people like Orrin Hatch off the cliff as if he were a commie.”
snip
Simpson has said similar things to Norquist’s face as the two bickered publicly and privately. Norquist claims that Simpson has left him ranting voicemails, but has declined to release them to the media.

Nice move by the the Right Wing Pig.
No response yet from the Rich Man's Toady, but Republican sports commentator David (the "Sychophant") Brooks is calling it a Toady victory on points because Republican officeholders won't raise revenue:
During a panel discussion Wednesday, New York Times columnist David Brooks said that GOP senators have told him the Coburn-Norquist spat appeared to have resulted in a Norquist victory. Brooks said the result is that the GOP is more firmly tied to its no-new-taxes pledge, to the private regret of some Republican senators.

Meanwhile, up and coming Paul "Ayn Rand" Ryan is in training for a fight to take the belt if the Rich Man's Toady ever retires.
When rightwinger Simpson is the "moderate" in that party, it is clear that the Republican Party is entering a death spiral. Can't wait until November 2012.
I'm all in.
Stay Tuned for more Republican Wrestlemania in the future.
