I took the time Tuesday to visit the Winchester, VA, office of Rep. Frank Wolf (R). I'm a constituent of this very right-wing Congressman. I had to drive an hour to get there, but I conscientiously combined it with some (rare for me) big box shopping for humongous-size economy packs of TP, detergent, etc.
Got there to his office mid-day to find the office door locked, Dem-themed signs about the debt ceiling all over the porch, and a note pinned on the office door that said, "This office is closed today so that office staff can be out in the district talking to constituents."
Really, Congressman? They were all out in the district talking to constituents? Are you sure they weren't trying to avoid talking to the constituents who showed up at the door?
