Here's a video feed from MSNBC of the action on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives as we move to a final vote on the debt limit deal:
3:50 PM PT: I wish I could be a better guide as to what exactly Congress is doing here, but the time has expired on their Call of the House vote with 418 members voting present and 14 not voting.
3:51 PM PT: Apparently 419 were present. At any rate, the roll call is about to begin.
3:55 PM PT: The only question mark is what the final tally will be. So far, votes in favor are running about 2:1 ahead of votes against, 151 to 85 with 11 minutes left on the clock. I'll do an update with the final tally when the vote is complete.
4:06 PM PT: There's a mad rush of votes at the end, 239 in favor so far, and the bill has a healthy majority.
4:09 PM PT: And the final result is 269-161 in favor of the bill, with Democrats split 95-95 and GOP in favor 174-66.
