It's been an interesting couple of days, to say the least. And following the diaries here seems like listening to two eyewitnesses provide widely disparate accounts of a car wreck.
There's a lot of disgust with Democrats and President Obama floating around over the debt ceiling deal.
There are many others saying either, "Obama is my man no matter what," or at least, "Obama is better than whoever the Republican nominee is in 2012."
No matter the sentiment, like-minded Kossaks rec it up, essentially saying, "Me too!"
But how will that boil down when it comes to the ballot box? How disillusioned have some of us become?
Personally, I was an ardent Obama supporter in 2008 who at this point can't imagine voting for him again. I'd arrived at that decision well before the "Satan sandwich" deal came down. I'll either vote third-party or write in Bernie Sanders.
No, I'm not trying to convince anyone else that they should do the same. Do what you always do -- stay informed and vote your conscience.
But I think it would be interesting -- in light of recent developments -- to see how others in this community are currently leaning in regards to their 2012 presidential vote.
