We know what kind of man Republican US Representative Peter King from New York is.
Peter King, who's convening Islamophobic hearings in the US House of Representatives while ignoring the threat of right-wing terrorism domestically and worldwide.
Peter King, who refused to allow Rep. Keith Ellison, a Muslim, to speak at those hearings.
Peter King, whose support for terrorists is well known:
Regarding the 30 years of violence during which the IRA killed over 1700 people, including over 600 civilians, King said, "If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the IRA for it"
And now?
He accuses the Obama administration of what he was silent about when the Bush Administration did for even less acceptable reasons:
leaking classified information.
Don't hit your head on the squiggldyjibbet.
Raw Story:
Congressman Peter King (R-NY) Wednesday on CNN accused the Obama administration of providing classified information to Sony Pictures and filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow for a film on the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.
“I’ve been contacted by so many people in the intelligence community over the last 90 days, outraged over so much sensitive material” being leaked, King said.
King, the Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, has called for an investigation into the leaking of “top-level access to the most classified mission in history.”
“This administration has revealed classified information, sensitive information, step-by-step, for the last 90 days,” King continued.
And when asked by the anchor how he knows this, the best answer King can give is, "Well, if it wasn't from the White House, then who did?"
Watch this weasel for yourself.
From the RawStory comment thread:
King is just angry that the movie will unearth, before the elections, what they have tried so hard to hide, bury, and forget like it never even happened - the fact that Barack Hussein Obama got Osama Bin Laden.
And so now Peter King wants to launch an investigation. "Endangering american lives": check. "Terrible track record": check. "Embarrassing": check. "Can't trust them": check.Anonymous sources in the intelligence community: check.
Tell you what, King: I say you're a liar. I say you're just making shit up.
Start your investigation and let's subpoena some witnesses, and we'll see what's what.
Carney said information provided to the filmmakers "has been focused on the president's role."
"There is no difference in the information that we've given to anybody who's working on this topic from what we gave to those of you in this room who worked on it in the days and weeks after the raid itself," Carney told reporters.
