6:01 PM PT: Here we go. Lots of smilings wingnuts. And that's just the guys on the stage! The crowd is going nuts too. Wait, they already were nuts.
6:01 PM PT: My god Newt Gingrich's stomach is like 30x bigger than Michele Bachmann's eyes.
6:03 PM PT: First question goes to Michele Bachmann, and immediately a baby starts crying in the audience. And pretty much the first thing she says is that we should not have increased the debt ceiling. In other words, we should have defaulted on our debt and destroyed the economy.
6:06 PM PT: Mitt Romney won't say how long it will take him to revive the economy. (Which I guess makes sense because he probably doesn't think the economy is a person.) He ticks off a seven point plan to revive it anyway. But who knows how long it'll take? Then he tries to explain why he actually was a leader on the debt ceiling fight.
6:07 PM PT: Okay Mitt Romney just said he wouldn't have agreed to the debt limit deal. Then Brett Baier asks if that means he would have vetoed it. And Romney refused to answer that question. I mean, it's not a trick question. He said he was against it. But he can't say if he'd veto it?
6:09 PM PT: Ron Paul just answered his question, he talked really fast, because this is probably one of the last debates he'll be allowed to participate in, but he talked about liquidating debt, or something like that. Fuck it, he should just break out some bling, a big gold chain, to get us on the gold standard or something like that.
