We're looking for volunteers to write a D'var Torah or two during the months of September and October. One complicating factor will be that Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret - Simhat Torah will be on Thursdays and Fridays, while Yom Kippur will be on Shabbat. I suggest a D'Var Torah for Rosh Hashanah, skipping that Shabbat, one for Yom Kippur, one for Sukkot skipping the intermediate Shabbat, and one for Shemini Atzeret - Simhat Torah. However, we definitely need to do one for Bereshit, which will be the day after Simhat Torah.
So please volunteer. If you haven't done one before, why not try?
