Cutting and pasting from ShelterBox
August 19 is World Humanitarian Day
The day focuses on the aid workers who put so much of
their personal time and effort to helping those in need all
around the world.
ShelterBox would cease to function without its staff and
volunteers. From the ground up ShelterBox has always
been a place where anyone who wants to help can. This is
for ShelterBox’s humanitarians, those people who give up
their free time to pack boxes through the night, the people
who travel across the world to dangerous disaster zones
to help others, the office staff who, through their skills and
experience, make everything possible, the speakers who
get others excited about our work and the fundraisers who
give so much energy and enthusiasm to ShelterBox.
In honour of World Humanitarian Day we’ve asked some
of the people who make up the ShelterBox family to tell us
their stories.

Then read about the various volunteers and staff who work to provide shelter and relief in times of disaster.
Wonderful pictures and stories.
Love to all,
