The following is the Obama 2012 form letter and a link to my 2012 fundraising page. I am not happy with the administration and when they asked me, one of the first and main state organizers for 2008 I said no but decided to create a fundraising page anyway. When I was asked once again to serve on the State of Utah Steering Committee I said no. The following is the letter I am sending to my friends to join me. See the link to my Climate2012page for more details.
(For background, as of today over 800 people have been arrested "telling" President Obama to do the right thing and say no to the globally suicidal Keystone pipeline. Here is a link to video of the movement.)
Dear Friends,
The 2012 campaign is just getting started, but to build the kind of grassroots organization the Obama administration will need to win they need Progressives and the Climate Movement. We won’t be playing along this time.
That's why I started my own grassroots fundraising page for Obama 2012. You will notice that the goal is $350 because they wouldn’t let me put $0.
Read my story on the page. You will see I even met the President and worked my tail off to get him into office. All the while believing I could count on him to get our planet off of our dying carbon based economy. I met Hillary too, and no, I don't believe she would have done anything differently.
Visit my page, start your own as a form of protest.
Please vote in 2012, if the President has straightened up his act and passed legislation and enacted policy to protect our environment, get off of carbon and create a grid based on wind solar and geothermal power, vote for him, otherwise please write in “no confidence.”
Together we can protect the progress we've made, and build on that progress over the next four years by standing up to a government that has been wholy corrupted by the fossil fuel industry.
Will you support the Planet Earth by making a donation of $0 or more to my page today and by speaking out, protesting, getting arrested, and refusing to shut up?
Climate-Justice-Solidarity
Thanks

The President should have said no to the Keystone pipeline to start with
