Hey ...all...
Here's another post that has been in the post-forming region of my vast interstellar brain, and I can guarantee you can't see where this is going and you'll HAVE to read below the squiggle-thang.
Several of the people here at Daily Kos have noticed that there is an 'issue' with 'some' being rather vehement about the supremacy of their perspectives.
They write "diaries" and either they gush endlessly about Obama like he's Justin Bieber (I say that a lot because people do it here constantly) or they can't tell the difference between Obama and George Bush, something that is equally as stupid to suggest.
Obviously, I am in the middle. For the record - I voted once for Obama, I'll vote for him again. I'm not holding my nose, I'm not engaging in ANY sort of histrionic protest OTHER than the 'protest" I do now, which is to criticize him when he falls short of progressive ideals or rolls over too easy to give into the GOP.
I see this as classic Democrat behavior - Obama's not the first Democrat to cave needlessly to the GOP.
And we only need say the name "Bill Clinton' to remember another Democratic president who was the target of a non-stop 8 year assault on his person (and which he aided and abetted with dazzling fail).
The point is, this:
It is Dems versus Republicans - not Dem vs Dem.
We should be fighting republicans.
Republicans dislike and disrespect Obama far more than other democrats do.
So this is for you - the kossack who complains there are trolls everywhere.
The kossack who complains the site is clogged with "rightwing operatives" (of which I am not one).
The kossack who seem to complain that too many liberal lips just don't kiss Obamas' ass enough.
The kossack who just can't get enough HR action.
I got something for you.
It's called Yahoo News!
Forget Redstate.
Forget Freeperville.
Forget that other place I can't remember because it was so rightwing my neck hurt from reading there.
You really need to start hanging around on Yahoo News. At least a little tiny bit.
Check This story
WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republican leaders are offering President Barack Obama an opening for compromise on measures that would spur job growth. They say neither Republicans nor the administration should consider their own initiatives "an all-or-nothing situation."
Now....we all know this is bullshit. The GOP is looking to compromise?
Be VERY suspicious.
Ok...it's an AP article and they may be a tad wingnutty - but this isn't what I want you to see.
I want you to click that link and check out the comments.
You think it's 'bad' here - you don't have a clue.

The Repubs sense that Obama is going to out smart them. So, they want to get in before and put a bowling ball through it first. Mr. Obama should not give in to them and continue presenting his jobs plan. If there are objections to it, they who object will lose face with the American public.
Ok.. that was a trick.
You DO find liberal/proper commentary there but people like US (yes, you and I are sorta the same right this moment) are truly outnumbered, or so I truly believe.
Usually, it's like this:

Hoffa's boy

Butz Wheat
[zombienote: this poster has a very racist pic of "Buckwheat" from "our Gang"]
All across the country, people from ALL walks of life are realizing what a LOSER this guy is for our country. He is ALL talk and NO performance. He is DESTROYING the coal industry. They are REFUSING to vote him in again. Check it out.
THE PROMISE--------
"Sen. Obama is from a coal state," Roberts continued. "He understands that coal will remain a primary source for electricity generation in this country for many decades to come and he will join with the UMWA as we work to ensure that it will be used for that purpose in an environmentally responsible way."
THE REALITY-----------
Topping those goals is the abolition of coal as an electrical power-generating fuel. More than half of the electrical power used every day by Americans is generated by power plants fueled by coal. And 90 percent of all the coal consumed in the U.S. goes to electrical power generation.
--------
IDEOLOGY
Obama will propose a 300 billion dollar jobs program. Do you wonder where a big chunk of that (if approved) will go? Just look no further than where he held a rally on Labor Day. (UNIONS and their criminal leaders)
But that doesn’t matter to Obama and Big Green, they are determined to kill the coal industry because of its alleged contribution to global warming.
It appears that Jackson’s EPA has now found the perfect regulatory tool to accomplish that goal — the proposed Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS), which, according to the agency, would apply to all “Coal and Oil-Fired Electric Utility Steam Generating Units and Standards of Performance for Fossil-Fuel-Fired Electric Utility, Industrial-Commercial-Institutional, and Small Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Steam Generating Units.”
Some of these are really tame but I want you to know the flavor of what's over there.
The POINT is that I believe instead of the traditional circular firing squad here and all the useless meta, some people would find it much more cathartic to go to Yahoo News, pick an article, and lay siege to the wingnuts.
You can thumb-down people all day long. It's like never running out of HR's.
It would be FUN to find kossacks there and for us to tag-team the conservatards sometimes, rather than pickin' bones here.
One suggestion I have to make, based on some time there: Any article will have some comments blaming Obama for whatever. Those are fun - you have to be bonkers to make that stuff up.
I did go on a story about Jennifer Anniston always wearing the same bathing suit and I blamed Obama for that.
Here's a little more, not that you need it:
Obama says GOP must back US first, create jobs
A title like that will tell you it is awash in Obama hatred, unbridled racism and poor spelling and grammar.

Is he really that stupid? Liberals should put their country first and resist importing any more illegal immigrants and wanting to cater to them!! They should also stop supporting muslims invading our domains and funding enemies. Ha!

Throughout the speech, the union crowd kept chanting "four more years."
Four more years of spending?Four more years of lying?Four more years with no jobs?Four more years of listening to people cry because Obama isn't doing good enough?I say HELL NO!
That particular article had 17000-some comments and the last quote about "Hell No" had 1330+ recs and nearly 300 'HR's" (thumbs-down).
I have learned about this because I cannot access Daily Kos while I am at work - not regularly. I have relied on commenting at Raw Story and Alternet, as well as Yahoo News to take the edge off.
And this is too good to miss: conservatards savaging teabaggers: it's like a bizarro-world Nature special.
Fox News, ABC air edited clip of Hoffa’s fiery speech at Obama rally, sparking tea party’s fury:

Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer asked for "..... a statement calling for Hoffa to apologize and for the White House to denounce his comments." After these fascists lied about his citizenship and religion, they expect Obama to help them? Get a clue teatards.
I LMAO seeing these people cut down on the teahadis.
So, I am suggesting people check that out and see if that doesn't feed a need as well as give you a new way to hone your replies to people who REALLY viscerally despise Obama because they are abject racists.
You don't have to do a dissertation - just be flippant, be direct, many of you know Obama's stuff inside and out - it should be easy to hammer away at those ya-hoos - and give lots and lots of thumbs down.
You won't change minds, but you'll have fun.
And....you don't have to wait for Kos's Hate-mail-palooza on Saturdays.
