I'm appalled that the GOP has not condemned the outburst of "let him die" at the CNN fiasco.
I'm appalled that my sex life commands so much time and effort that the North Carolina legislature must do a double pinkie-swear on my bedroom to ensure that I will never have rights.
I'm appalled that the press has not been hounding and hunting each presidential candidate to have them condemn the hate on both fronts. To explain why they allow such hate at their events. Just like in 2008. Now again in 2011.
I'm appalled that the talibangelicals, the ones that push for "christian" values would focus so much on hurting others... of depriving them of human dignity and compassion...
Well...
Dear teabaggers...
You have no fucking clue.
This is what America is about:
You may throw the red meat to your hate-filled vocal minority, but that is not America.
We won't let him die.
We won't allow someone to suffer needlessly.
How dare you suggest that this country is like that.
You disgust me.
Sometimes, when I think, gosh, is my teabagger brother right? Does he have a point?
I will remember this and what happened yesterday at the debate and what happened to day in North Carolina and know...
They are wrong. They are on the wrong side of history.
They fucking suck.
And I will know. And I will fight for the right side.
The side of humanity and peace and love and inclusion.
Not the side of hate and prejudice and bigotry and lies and the devaluation of human life.
And I will be on the right side of history. I may never get to marry my partner, but I will be right and I will fight the fight on the right side of the issues.
GOP, you're wrong... so fucking wrong.
