It’s Labor Day still on Equal Time. Tacoma Public Schools and the Tacoma Education Association have not negotiated a contract and the teachers have taken to sidewalks with picket signs in hand. On the Friday, September 16, 2011 Equal Time Radio show we talk to Sen. Steve Conway from Tacoma's 29th Legislative District, who talks to us about the current situation with the union and the need for collective bargaining and why there are conflicting reports regarding a judge's order to send them back to work.
Tacoma teacher Sanger Chambers then joins us to explain what the REAL sticking point is in the negotiations.
Oh, those nutty Republicans! We play the greatest hits from the debates. These, my friends, are your presidential nominees!
