The gloves came off between Fox News host Greta Van Susteren and Daily Caller editor Tucker Carlson Monday night regarding an article he had run about Mike Tyson’s comments on Sarah Palin.
The article, titled “Mike Tyson: Sarah Palin met ‘the wombshifter,’” talked about Tyson’s interview on the radio show “Gridlock” on KWWN, ESPN’s Las Vegas affiliate. During the interview Tyson addressed the allegations that Palin had a one-night stand with former NBA star Glenn Rice, and said some not-so-politcally correct things. [...]
It later became clear that this was not the first time Van Susteren had an issue with Carlson’s treatment of women. [...]
Carlson pointed out that when Tyson was last on her show Van Susteren had “asked him nothing about his sexual assault.”
“You asked him questions about how long have you been a vegan, then you sent out a picture of yourself smiling and laughing with Mike Tyson,” Carlson yelled over Van Susteren.
“If you’re so offended by Mike Tyson, why not ask him a real question? Why didn’t you ask him a single hard question? Instead you let him talk about his pigeons.”
