This is going to be short. However it is important. Please follow me over the fold.
While watching the CBC news program, The National, they ran a video piece about how President Obama is losing his clout in the world... and while that in itself an important point...their revelation (no pun intended) that Rick Perry, in his statements about Obama's policies to Israel and how he is "directed" (by God) to stand with Israel, standing next to him was a current and prominent member of Netanyahu's Likud Party... His name is Danny Deno.
Here is the link to the CBC report:

And here is some info on Mr. Deno

The CBC makes a very good point....what in the hell is a member of a foreign government doing lending support to the defeat of an American President?
Fri Sep 23, 2011 at 4:04 AM PT: Ok. Here it is in a nut shell. Some folks have taken this diary the wrong way. The whole point was to question a member of the Israeli ruling party, the Likud, supporting the likes of Rick Perry.
I was not, and am not now "attacking" Isreal. I AM questioning why a member of a foreign government, and a radical member at that, is allowed to participate in promoting ANY Presidential candidate.
I also am concerned about the Theocratic undertones of this particular support for a Teapublican Presidential candidate. And apparently, so is Salon.

IMO, if you are not concerned with foreign influence on our political process then I don't know what else to say to you . I bothers me... I thought that as thinking people y'all would see the danger. It appears I was wrong.
