Protesters are on the march again. From my view, it looks like they are at the top of Wall Street which is barricaded -- Broadway and Wall Street.
The police are standing behind the barricade in front of the New York Stock Exchange, with two red light stands.
The crowd is bigger and louder than when I was there on Sunday.
Here is the live feed if you would like to watch:

Updates below.
Update1 8:08pm: They just decided to spread out. Mixed in with the Wall Street related chants are chants related to Troy Davis. Note that just about an hour ago they added another camera to the live feed so they are now working with two cameras. Be patient with the camera folk, as they move it gets blurry. Also, sometimes the live feed craps out but in the past couple hours it has been coming back very quickly.
Update2 8:21pm: Someone on camera saying that the police are shutting them down in order to power wash the sidewalks. Telling them to move on. It was getting pretty crazy (but not in any violent way, just very energized and loud). Don't know if this will continue elsewhere or not.
Update3 8:25pm: Arrests? Crowd chanting "Let them go!" I can't tell if they arrested anyone or not. I think not.
Update4 8:30pm: Looks like this march is going to continue. They also had a big march at around 4pm so I was surprised that they went out again around 7:30pm. I heard on the livefeed that they were having a general assembly at 7pm so they must have decided on another march then.
Some of the chants:
"Wall Street. Our street"
"The system, is racist, they killed Troy Davis"
"We are all Troy Davis"
"The people united will never be defeated"
"Hell no we won't go"
"Occupy Wall Street" or "All day all week occupy Wall Street"
Update5 8:48pm: The group returned to the park and began an assembly. I think there has been a split. Some stayed in the park and others who wanted to continue marching went off to march. One camera is clearly in the park. The other camera person is on the move, running it seems (blur) and going to catch up with those who went out to march again.
Update6 8:52pm: Live feed text message said "There have been arrests, info soon".
Update7 8:57pm: I think that might be it for the march. About a half hour to an hour seems about right based on past marches. I suspect there will be another tomorrow in the morning and again in the afternoon at closing bell (4pm) if they repeat what they did today. I haven't heard anything about the times they will march on Saturday. I think the numbers will really grow on Saturday. A lot of people seem to be making plans to go this weekend, including me.
Good night, all.
Update8 9:09pm: According to one of the moderators in the chat window that accompanies the live feed, there were four arrests. A large crowd has assembled and they are chanting "Let our brothers go". This is the information the chat moderator sent out:
Update9 10:00pm: I have the live feed on in the background and heard the general assembly break into a lot of cheering. A group of people carrying big red signs that said "PSC SUPPORTS YOU" just came walking through the park. Now one of this group is going to speak to the group using the "people's microphone". Since they are not allowed to use microphones or bullhorns, one person uses the crowd as a microphone. They speak in short or fragmented sentences and the crowd repeats everything that they say so that everyone can hear.
I believe they said that they are the Professional Staff Congress at the University of New York. Their representative says "we are here in solidarity and admiration for your protest" "we know exactly what it means that wall street is reaping the profits... transfer of wealth..." [ feed is choppy, now lost the audio and video is frozen ]. The PSC people look to be middle-aged and/or seniors, from what I could see. The protesters are stoked.
Update10 10:23pm: I think this is the organization that just came to the park in solidarity with the protesters. This could be a big development.
PSC CUNY
The Professional Staff Congress is the union that represents more than 20,000 faculty and staff at the City University of New York (CUNY). It is dedicated to advancing the professional lives of its members, enhancing their terms and conditions of employment, and maintaining the strength of the nation's largest, oldest and most visible urban public university.

Update11 10:56pm: Hat tip to cotterperson in the comments for this YouTube video of the arrests tonight between 8 and 8:30pm. I can't find one story in the news tonight about it, by searching Google News.
Update12 11:15pm: Just for contrast, look at this video that I took last Sunday to see how much this has grown. There are also a lot of pictures in this diary that I did on Tuesday, if you are interested.
Update13 8:54am (Friday): The march on Saturday is currently scheduled to begin at noon. Saturday at noon.
The forecast for NYC today is rain and more rain and the weekend forecast has some rain in it on both days at this point. I don't know what effect this will have on the protesters.
Update14 9:05 am (Friday):
OccupyWallSt.org has published a sixth communique this morning.
This is the sixth communiqué from the 99 percent. We are occupying Wall Street.
On September 22nd, 2011, sixteen cities from around the country and the world stood in solidarity with us, protesting the disparity of power and wealth that exists in our society. In Liberty Square, no such disparity exists. Everyone's needs are taken care for, food, medicine, water. The only need, the only right, that we cannot take care of is shelter, though this is not our choice. Mayor Bloomberg said that he would give us a space to protest but at every moment he attempts to erode us. He uses absurd police tactics – arresting protesters for using chalk on sidewalks, for wearing masks on the back of their heads in violation of a law that is a century and a half old, for... what, exactly? He uses the tactics of media suppression only available to a billionaire with a media empire. It has not worked. It will not work. We are growing. Each day more cities join us. Each day our movement grows. We demand real change. We will see it.

Update15 9:15 am (Friday):
Via the livestream a young man is asking for help. They need the use of a box truck for the rainy periods, or some period of time. He gave his personal (cell?) phone number to call him to discuss the help they need and how you might be able to help. I'll post the phone number that he gave for a little while, and then will remove the number later. If you think you can help, send me a message via kosmail and I will give you the phone number.
They are getting ready to walk to Wall Street, presumably timed for opening bell.
