The 2012 GOP Presidential candidates will be holding another debate tonight, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 8pm ET. The debate will be hosted by Wofford College, which is located in Spartanburg, SC., and presented by CBS News and the National Journal.
Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Michelle Bachmann, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum will be the candidates for this debate.
The debate at Wofford College will cover Foreign Policy which should be interesting to watch, especially Herman Cain, who in a recent interview on the PBS’ News Hour, warned that China is "trying to develop nuclear capability." China held their first nuclear weapons test in 1964.
Tonight’s debate comes just four days after their last debate on CNBC which was suppose to cover the economy and jobs. And while all the candidates gave plenty of scorn towards President Obama and the economy, there was hardly a mention of former President Bush, who was president when the economy collapsed, and none of the candidates said anything of substance on how to fix our economy.
And the most unforgettable moment of Wednesday’s debate, came when Texas Governor Rick Perry had trouble remembering his talking points on which three federal government agencies he would cut. Look for Perry to take a page from the Sarah Palin School of memory and write crib notes on the palms of his hands.
Tonight’s 90 minute debate will air on CBS, but the last 30 minutes will be interrupted by regular scheduled programming on the east coast. You can watch the entire debate or the last 30 minutes online here.
