So, I totally forgot some stuff, Like how it became a national news headline that "Occupy Orlando" is secretly run by the Muslim brotherhood, or that wow, radical right wing groups really really don't like us much. (more after the break)
So, on the 15th, (to be fair it feels honestly like a year since the occupation began, forgive me for forgetting all of these things) I did about 9-10 interviews, some went well, others I had a bluetooth headset sticking out of my ear and looking like a colossal douchebag ( http://www.youtube.com/... ). Others were a completely different monkey entirely. Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit to you Exhibit A:

Now, I'm hoping you guys see this in the same light as I do, as you seem to be sensible and at least open to the fact that all brown skinned folks are not automatically out to eat your babies. (well at least I hope not, I'm married to an "other than caucasian") Let me just say this one, Shayan Elahi is actually kind of a friend of mine, I met him shortly after the occupation began and he tirelessly has to deal with all the stupid shit that only a long-term political protest has to, He went to a Jewish Law school, and is actually an atheist.
Tom Trento on the other hand I didnt know at all, until at least the the video aired on youtube. I actually gave an interview with this guy, apparently I was not controversial or incoherant enough for him to want to use any of my footage. I remember him asking somewhat odd-ish flavored questions (on the 15th) until he hit me with this gem "So, as a military veteran, don't you feel odd in supporting Communism?"
I was like " Uhm.... what?"
He repeated "Don't you feel odd down here, supporting Communists?"
I had to take a minute to compose a reply " I think you are forgetting the Anarchists, Fascists, libertarians and the Skinheads against Racial predjudice as well as your commonly flavored democrats, republicans and independants. As for me, I think this is more of a movement for the people, by people. Then any groups they happen to subscribe to. " Of course I most likely was not that elegant about my response, I wasnt used to hostile "journalism" at that point.
I think Keith Obermann spoke best about my good friend Tom Trento

Of course I think I prefer the Dog the bounty hunter looking dude who carried around a giant red paddle, threatening to "spank a liberal"
