Fox (Isn't News) has been practically nonstop in its efforts to smear OWS. They're dirty, they're disorganized, they're doing Number Two on police cars, they're doing drugs, they're having sex, they're anti-American, they're Communists, they should go home, they should occupy a desk job, etc., etc.
Now we have a story in the NY Post about one of the "leaders" and "money men" of OWS who stayed in a swanky hotel while the ground troops roughed it in the park.
Supposedly, this fellow is one of the few who has control over the OWS purse.
Here is the link to the NY Post story (though I hate to give that rag any clicks).
And here is a companion piece at Fox (Isn't) News.com
An extract from the latter:
Hell no, we won’t go — unless we get goose down pillows.
A key Occupy Wall Street leader and another protester who leads a double life as a businessman ditched fetid tents and church basements for rooms at a luxurious hotel that promises guests can “unleash [their] inner Gordon Gekko,” The Post has learned.
The $700-per-night W Hotel Downtown last week hosted both Peter Dutro, one of a select few OWS members on the powerful finance committee, and Brad Spitzer, a California-based analyst who not only secretly took part in protests during a week-long business trip but offered shelter to protesters in his swanky platinum-card room.
This smacks of a smear job to me. What do you say?
