Yesterday I posted a tip jar with my recipe for home made Irish Cream in my diary on
Bananas, Rats and booze. I picked it up many years ago from a columnist who used to write in The Oregonian, Jonathan Nicholas.
I thought why not re-post the the recipe and invite you all to contribute your own home made holiday cheer recipes as well.
Lets go below the Fleur-de-Kos and share the spirit(s).
Into a blender add:
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
(Then using the can as a measure so there are equal parts)
1 can 1/2 and 1/2
1 can Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey (or other Irish Whiskey if you can't find Tully. Give every man his Dew!)
1 heaping tablespoon Cafe Vienna instant coffee mix
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon butter flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend until smooth
Taste
Taste again
If there is any left, refrigerate
Have at it in your comments.
