I say return because even tho' we've had a Mojo Friday on the 13th several times, the only time Triskaidekaphobia was written about was in June of 2008 by everybody's best buddy Timroff. As best I can recall he called me asking for the day. He had already formed the diary in his head and wanted to use MF as the platform. So, I said sure.
Triskaidekaphobia
Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of 13, a number commonly associated with bad luck in Western culture. While fear of the number 13 can be traced back to medieval times, the word triskaidekaphobia itself is of recent vintage, having been first coined by Coriat (1911; Simpson and Weiner 1992). It seems to have first appeared in the general media in a Nov. 8, 1953 New York Times article covering discussions of a United Nations committee.
This superstition leads some people to fear or avoid anything involving the number 13. In particular, this leads to interesting practices such as the numbering of floors as 1, 2, ..., 11, 12, 14, 15, ... (Sloane's A011760; the "elevator sequence"), omitting the number 13, in many high-rise American hotels, the numbering of streets avoiding 13th Avenue, and so on.
Fear of the number 13 also leads to fear of Friday the thirteenth (a fear recently dubbed paraskevidekatriaphobia), despite the fact that Friday turns out to be the most common weekday on which the 13th of a month can occur in the Gregorian calendar. The association of bad luck with Friday appeared in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales in the late 14th century ("and on a Friday fell all this misfortune"), but references to Friday as a day associated with ill luck in general first appear around the middle of the 17th century (Mikkelson and Mikkelson). In particular, it appeared in numerous publications as a particularly unlucky day to start a new venture (beginning a journey, giving birth, getting married, moving, starting a new job, etc.) beginning around 1800 (Mikkelson and Mikkelson).
And Wiki has this to add;
Triskaidekaphobia (from Greek tris meaning "3", kai meaning "and", deka meaning "10" and phobia meaning "fear" or "morbid fear") is fear of the number 13; it is a superstition and related to a specific fear of Friday the 13th, called paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia.
The more accurate term in Greek is: Dekatriafobia for Dekatria means 13 in Greek, Deka=10 Tria=3 and the word for ten must come before the word Three in the number 13 in the Greek language! (otherwise it might be mistaken to the number 30)
The term was first used by Isador Coriat in Abnormal Psychology.
There are numerous associations with the number 13, from the number of months in a Hebrew or Chinese calender some years (in order to synchronize the solar and lunar cycles), to the number of dinner guest. (The Last Supper, Odin's dinner party broken up by Loki that resulted in the death of Balder).
But it seems the first association of Friday and the 13th may have been by Chaucer in the Canterbury Tales ("and on a Friday fell all this misfortune"). But more common usage may not have happened until the late 17th century associated with a particularly unlucky day to start a new venture (beginning a journey, giving birth, getting married, moving, starting a new job, etc.).
Do you treat it as a lucky or unlucky day? Or do you give it no credence at all, it's just another day for you.

On with the games!!
Mojo Friday Guidelines
1) If you comment you have to recommend all comments. (in order to receive mojo you have to give mojo. It's only good mojo manners.)
2) Everything you say may be taken as a joke (so if you ask a question, expect a silly answer)
