Hey there everybody! It's Tuesday night so it's that time again - time to leave all the bad news and politics behind us and instead focus on escaping into our favorite songs.
The other week, someone played a song in one of these diaries that was one that I had bought a waaaay long time ago when I was a youngun. So that's my inspiration for tonight!
Tonight's theme is the first few songs you bought. Now, what I mean is not that you necessarily did the paying for them, just that the decision on what music to purchase, whether it be a single, an album, a video, or a concert ticket, was made by you. For instance, maybe you saved your allowance for that kickass record you heard on the radio when you were a preteen. Or maybe your parents said that you could choose what album you wanted for Christmas. Or maybe there's that first concert you bought tickets for in your teens/twenties. The point is, you decided what music was going to be purchased, and it was among the first bits of music you decided to purchase.
I know that sometimes our music tastes have changed over the years, but this particular diary is for those first few purchased songs.
So what were your first few favorite songs that you purchased?
Come below the kosquiggle for some of mine!
