Wisconsin Govenor Scott Walker believes his protestors are "truly extreme", that no one elected to office should ever have to suffer through such "physical threats" and that they attempted to "politically and personally intimidate" law makers. He compares his dealing with the protestors to the "tragedy down in Arizona".
Even after, in light of, that horrific tragedy down in Arizona, and yet you see the thousands of signs out there, many of which, not only against me, but against law makers and others... I mean, we'd have cross hairs on, we'd have attacks, they'd call us Hitler and Mubarek and all those other things out there... Its just one of those... I just think it shows you how incredibly out of touch and how radical, truly radical, some of these protestors were.
Yes, my twelve-year old grandson held one of those threatening signs.

Walker continues with...
I believe you saw it going from a matter of voicing their opposition to really an intentional effort to both politically and personally intimidate elected officials here in the state of Wisconsin. I think, you know, in a free society that is of grave concern. I don't care if you are on the right or the left, to me, people that elected to office should not feel a physical threat for standing for the things they believe in.
Law enforcement officers and officials might scratch their heads at that fantasy. It's a fact that the protests have been and are incredibly peaceful.
Yes, Governor, there is an election coming up. Wisconsin has a "Lemon Law".
