Flailing and failing Scott Walker is out with a shiny new ad containing the usual "it's working" lies, but at the end he says:
Help me oppose the recall.
Bwahahahaha!
One MILLION signatures to recall him (540,000 needed), unable to prove his repeated lie that the recall was fraudulent by claiming people signed multiple times or used fake names like Mickey Mouse or Hitler, and looking at a recent poll showing he'd lose to several announced and unannounced candidates, Walker's a scared little man. Despite the Koch Brothers and other monied interests backing him a billion percent, recent polling shows high negatives among Wisconsinites. And this is after millions in lying ads repeating the (BS) meme that all his "reforms" (severe cuts with money funnelled to the rich and corporate) are "working". Imagine what the polling would be if he hadn't spent all that money on propaganda.
No, it's not working and no matter how many times he lies about it, it's not. He's prepared to steal millions in federal funds intended for homeowners defrauded by the Banksters and Wall Streeters to plug millions in deficits he created. A deficit even larger than the ones he's complained about in the past. A deficit despite peeling thousands of dollars from every public employee in the state, despite the largest education cuts in the nation, despite cutting thousands of Wisconsinites off Badger Care and Family Care, despite huge cuts to services, he's got a deficit he can't lie about anymore.
Of course, he won't admit for one minute that his juicy tax breaks to the rich and corporate had anything to do with it. He won't admit that Wisconsin has had record job losses for the last 6 consequetive months which means less tax revenue for the state. He won't admit that his severe cuts to counties and municipalities coupled with a prohibition on raising property taxes beyond the rate of new construction has left most localities cutting services and education. He won't admit that it's not working.
And next year will be worse for local Wisconsin governments since they've already cut as much as they could and peeled away wages from public employees by payroll deductions for pension and benefits according to Walkers budget formula. Additionally, they lost many of their most experienced workers as those eligible for retirement left before being subjected to, minimally, a $250 per month reduction in their paychecks. While the lower cost new hires save localities money, it's a matter of time before their wages are increased in the civil service system.
If you'd like to throw Scott Walker an anchor, please consider an Act Blue donationto the Wisconsin Democratic Party to keep this ad on the air:
Another anchor can be added by supporting Lori Compas, who is running against State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, a horrendous little man whose brother is the Speaker of the Assembly and father was appointed (by Walker) as head of the State Patrol. Yeah, it's the Republican nepotism thing on steroids. Learn more about Lori here.
Thanks for your support.
Update: By the way, the link listed at the end of Walkers ad takes you to a volunteer form at his campaign website.

Writing letters to the editor? Seriously? Pretending to be Joe Average Citizen while pounding out talking points issued by the campaign? Of course, he doesn't have his staff to do that anymore (yeah, some of the indictments of his staff were because they did that kind of stuff on the taxpayers dime in the past) so he needs new knuckleheads to catapult the propaganda for him.
And how many real teachers are going to join his "educators" coalition? Or farmers, for that matter, after all his education and Badger Care cuts? Farmers circled the State Capitol on their tractors in opposition to Walkers cuts.
So, the fail continues.
