I wish Russell Pearce would just go away. But, thanks to New York Sen. Charles Schumer, he gets to go to Washington and testify on the immigration issue. Thanks a lot Chuck. We have been trying really hard here in Arizona to make him irrelevant, like by defeating him in a recall election, and then you go and elevate his ego in a national way. I’m disgusted.
A U.S. Senate subcommittee will hold a hearing April 24 in Washington on Arizona's tough immigration law and the bill's author will appear.
New York Sen. Charles Schumer says he's accepted former Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce's offer to testify at the hearing of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security. Pearce lost his seat after a voter backlash led to his recall.
The hearing occurs a day before the U.S. Supreme Court will hear the federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of SB 1070.

Pearce offered, Schumer accepted. I’m going to go bang my head against the wall for awhile.
