We've been told repeatedly
this:
"Guess what? I made a lot of money," [Mitt Romney] replied. "I've been very successful. I'm not going to apologize for that."
Fair enough. The dude made a lot of money. He's proud of it! It means no one in his family has to work for a living, and they get to have car elevators, tons of mansions, best friends who own professional sports teams, and a fleet of Cadillacs. It's cool shit!
But if he won't apologize for his success, why is he so eager to hide the details of that success by refusing to release his tax returns?
He's successful, we all know it. Boy do we know it.
But if you're so damn proud of that success, then you shouldn't be afraid to release your tax returns.
