That should be his name.
He's gotten too heavy for the car seat I have and large enough he can flop out of it whenever he wants. I bought him a larger harness because he outgrew Itzl's harness even when expanded to it's largest size.
I had to order a seat belt tether for him because they didn't have any at the pet stores here.
That means poor Hector has had to stay at home because I have no safe way to transport him - the crates I have are all too small.
He still looks small, but he's one solid puppy, tipping the scales at over 10 pounds now.
I've had to have a shut door between him and Xoco because they absolutely do not get along. Hector is now almost 3 times her size and while she's feisty enough to defend herself, he's klutzy enough to cause her serious harm. So he stays in the laundry room with the back door open into the back yard and she gets the whole rest of the house.
So far, I've had about 14 people say they'd take him if he would be under 60 pounds, and since I think he's going to exceed 100 pounds that means he still has no forever home.
I may also be acquiring a 14 week old chihuahua puppy if we don't find a home for her soon. She's not with me, she's staying with someone else right now because of Hector.
