The things we care about on a daily basis are infinitesimal trivia existing for an instant and then disappearing. Only via the Big Picture do the smaller things attain meaning. It doesn't have to be some quasi-mystical exercise in cosmic connection, but it is nonetheless a lot of fun, a lot of adventure in the process of learning, and there' a lot of beautiful images to see.
