Happy Canada Day!
Small update: #DenounceHarper has made it to the natty po.
I know, that may be an off the radar a tad.
But July the 1st is the day where here in Canada we celebrate our country with beers and Barbecues. We put temporary tattoos on our kids, and wave the flag we used to so proudly show to the world.
But things change. Eh?
We have a government that was elected with only 39% of eligible voters, and they have been pushing the austerity for dummies package provided by the head offices.
And as it turns out they used many scummy voter suppression tactics that may be familiar to many of you there in the US.
Environmental disasters upcoming.
McCarthy like stuff against charities? is going on.
We used to be considered quite sane and polite. Maybe overly so.
But today, many are taking to twitter to talk about their love of country, AND to #DenounceHarper
It's trending, just below #HappyCanadaday. Huffpo Canada has picked up that story, the corporate media may if it gets big enough.
Help us celebrate!
