Looking at the front page reference to new and better remote controlled killing machines [drones] this article came to mind
A British woman who worked at the top of the US military during the most troubled periods of the Iraq war has said she fears the west has yet to see how some Muslims brought up in the last decade will seek revenge for the "war on terror".
As many of us have said time and time again, terror is not a person, terror is not a country, terror is not a religion, so how can you have a war on terror?
It has been seen by many Muslims as a war on Islam. Now, we are saying, 'We've pulled out of Iraq, we are pulling out of Afghanistan, and it's all over now.' It may be over for the politicians.
Just because we say, let's move along and forget the past, doesn't mean everyone else will forget the fear, blood and torture.
Just because we say we have the right, and that God is indeed on our side, doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way.
Just because we can safely assassinate anyone we choose doesn't mean there will not be repercussions
Just because we say it is over, doesn't mean it is:
"We have to ask ourselves, what do we think this has done to their world? And how will they avenge these deaths in years to come? It is not over for the soldiers who have physical injuries and mental scars, nor the families who have lost loved ones.".
For those
that remember
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

How can you win a war on terror with terror, I doubt it is by creating deadlier remote controlled killing machines.
