There is a Great diary up by SallyCat celebrating her 8 years at Daily Kos, and asking others how long they have been there.
I thought it was a nice time to ask others, "what does your user name mean?"
Now, some people don't want to say, and I totally respect that. Mine stands for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which is funny, because I was conceived in Maine, born in Massachusetts, grew up in Texas, went to college in Michigan, lived and studied in Austria and Russia, and now live in Maine. No one would ever suspect! But Massachusetts was also my home, where I am from in many ways, and I do love it. Especially the license plates driving southward on the Maine Turnpike on a Sunday.
So, what means your user name, if you care to divulge? More over the squiggliedodad...
Now, as far as SallyCat goes, we're talking about how long we've been on Daily Kos.
I'll be up front about it:
Commonmass:
242 diaries, not including this one
39564 comments, not including this tip jar.
Joined in March of '08 but waited a baby's gestation to write my first, highly unsuccessful and initial diary--snark--on the 24th of December that year. You can read it here.
Very little outside of community to say. But that's not my point: who are you?
Since SallyCat got it started, let's finish it. What does your user name mean and why? Why is it important to you? Why did you choose it?
Let's have a romp. Let's let #Romneyshambles jump the shark.
