This is a short diary but I need every Kossack to sign this Change.org petition.
When the likes of Dick warmonger Cheney can get a heart transplant with no problem, a man who dodged the war like a true chickenhawk and the VA is asking for insurance, using red tape and putting up barriers which is putting a VietNam veteran's life in jeopardy, it is not acceptable. This warrior needs a liver transplant. This man actually fought and was exposed to the herbicides used in the jungle. Dick Cheney was hiding and eventually promoting war but never fought in one.
Dick Cheney got a heart. God knows that may be the only way he could ever have one, is to implant one surgically but that is not the point. Chickenhawks don't wait and veterans do? Not acceptable.
For those who borne the battle. Are those just words? They are displayed in every VA Hospital in the world. This man should not be begging for a liver after exposure to Agent orange.
Please sign the petition and let's take it further in signatues than 100,000. I get really tired of beggin for what's right regarding healthcare as I am sure most of you are.
Please read and sign and watch the video. It showed up on my Facebook.
I just happened to be chatting with Doris Bailey when it appeared and we know too well how hard it is to break through the red tape.
We have fallen down the rabbit hole when the likes of Darth Vader can get a heart and this poor man cannot get a liver.
Thanks for helping me try and help those who fought and sacraficed.
Here is the peitition///

My father served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1967-1969. While on duty, his platoon was directly sprayed by Agent Orange- an extremely toxic herbicide used by the United States military- which, 40 years later, caused his liver to fail. A liver transplant could save my father's life.
Duke University Hospital is ready to perform the transplant once they receive the necessary insurance money to pay for it. Unfortunately, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), has been dragging their feet to approve the insurance benefits my father is entitled to as a veteran. The VA said that my father qualifies for the insurance over 2 years ago but little action has been taken. So now, my father is dying in Duke University Hospital while the VA takes their time in processing his paperwork.
A doctor in the VA has already told us that if we don't seek outside help, my father will soon die. He is only 62 years old and wants to watch his two grandchildren- Cody, 6, and Kenzie, 2- grow up. Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina is pushing the VA to approve the liver transplant for my father but we need more voices. Please add your voice to save the life of Lucius Littlejohn: a father, grandfather and United States war veteran.
