The president's enemies have given him no quarter since the beginning of the 2008 election. Since then he has been subjected to all kinds of vile attacks. He has been heckled while delivering a speech to Congress by a GOP Congressman.

His likeness has been hung in effigy. Your Party has obstructed his initiatives at every turn. His upbringing has been questioned, his birthplace has been disputed, and he has been called un-American. He has handled all of this with class and dignity that few among us could marshal under such circumstances.

Your campaign is guilty of the very race-baiting that the base of your Party has done since the beginning. For you to start whining about incivility of the campaign is disgusting. You and your Party have earned every sling and arrow heading your way and, guess what, most of them are based in truth. How is that for karma?

So be a big boy and take your medicine. You've earned this and it is richly, richly deserved.

No love, but with sincerity,

Tex

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

I agree with your diary wholeheartedly.  What would he do when faced with tough decisions and tough world leaders?  He can't cry "truce".  I always knew he had no balls and is just a spoiled brat.  Screw you Mitt. this is Hardball  and if you don't like it, take your gold marbles and go home.

  •  But . . . But . . . I'm a Bishop! (4+ / 0-)

Romney thinks he can treat this campaign however he wants without any restraint, because he thinks he's better than the Obama people.  It's fun watching them whine anyway, especially since some of the media have even picked up on the whining.

about Mittwit seeking a peace between the campaigns. This from the man who pulled the scorched earth ad campaigns against his primary opponents, pulled a magical editing of President Obama's words--knowing full well he crafted a lie by doing so and continues to herald his business experience as the crown jewel of his resume to be president.

I don't know if the bleed out has gotten to him and  he's hoping the big meanie Dems will pull punches since he's down at the moment--- Or as diarist Vyan suggested, he's sending a veiled threat suggesting he'll let loose the nasty 2008 right wing trash on team Obama. Who knows? The Romney campaign ain't exactly noted for their smarts. I'm actually hoping they sink to trying that old trash, more independents will walk away, and the GOP moderates will once again cross over or stay away. He can't make an argument on the issues, he can't just ignore the calls for his tax returns---Nothing that worked in the past is working now.

When Rick Perry decided to run for president, I told people around me he would be done long before the summer even began...He fell for the same reasons Romney is falling now---There's a lot a powerful person can get away with on a state level, but in a national campaign, the safety net is ripped away and the national press, bloggers and other super sleuths will turn over every little bit of data looking for the one nugget that will reek to high heaven. It's a challenge, almost a requirement to do so.

Alas, poor Mittwit, you would have been wise to heed to the advice of your sons, tended to your foo-foo horse and worried about the finding the perfect height for the trees at your many residences.

knows no bounds. I go back to a simple idea, they have hit Obama with all the crap for 4 years. Mittwit can unleash the dogs and it will only resonate with a small group. He id unworthy of the Office of the President of the United States of America.
