Tonight we're liveblogging primary results in four states: Connecticut (polls close at 8pm ET), Florida (7pm ET in most of the state, 8pm in the panhandle), Minnesota (9pm), Wisconsin (9pm). Our writeup of all the key federal and statewide races can be found
here.
Results: Connecticut | Florida | Minnesota | Wisconsin
7:16 PM PT: The AP calls WI-02 (D) for Mark Pocan, who is absolutely demolishing Kelda Roys, 70-23 with 31% reporting. Wow.
7:21 PM PT: The AP is doing that thing that it does: 100% of precincts are finally reporting in the FL-03 GOP primary, and veterinarian Ted Yoho leads Rep. Cliff Stearns 21,894 votes to 21,065 (34% to 33%). But the AP still hasn't called the race.
7:25 PM PT: With 34% reporting in WI-Sen (R), Tommy Thompson has extended his lead to 34-31 over Eric Hovde. Mark Neumann is at a distant 23%.
7:28 PM PT: By the way, Florida law specifies automatic recounts only if the margin is under 0.5%. Yoho is well ahead of that threshold.
7:46 PM PT: 34-31 Thompsin in WI-Sen with over half counted.
7:51 PM PT: In MN-01 (R), Allen Quist is up 54-46 with 54% reporting. In MN-08 (D), Rick Nolan is up 43-36 over Tarryl Clark with 25% reporting. Jeff Anderson is back in third at 21.
8:07 PM PT: Quist's 54-46 lead is staying stable with around 3/4ths of the vote counted. But in MN-08, things have tightened to 42-38 Nolan, with 31% in.
8:09 PM PT: Looking bleak for Eric Hovde: T-squared is up 34-30 with 76% counted.
8:22 PM PT: The liveblog continues here.
