I love the insider trading story. We all know it's the only way, other than inheriting or marrying money, that a 42 year old congressman can amass a fortune.
Keep in mind that Ryan has been in politics all/most of his post-4 yr degree graduation.
So, what was it? Did Ryan inherit his fortune? Did he marry fortune? Or is Paul Ryan as good as or better than Warren Buffet at playing the market? Discerning voters want to know.
If Ryan inherited his fortune, why did he work as a waiter and other odd jobs?
Did Ryan marry his fortune? Maybe. And, the oil etc. holdings subsidies and write-offs are exempt from being cut by Ryan's own draconian plan to reduce the budget. So, we can add "conflict of interest" to "insider trading" as aspects of PURE AND CLEAN Paul Ryan.
A picture is worth a 1,000 words. Here are several. First, the list of PAUL RYAN'S stock transactions that took place in 2008 followed by a side-by-side comparison of Ryan's stocks for the years 1007, 2008, and 2009. You be the judges.

AlterNet: Story on Ryan "Insider Trading" Apparently Not "Debunked" After All?!?+
One thing is for sure: Paul Ryan sold lots of shares in 2008
And he slowly dumped his AIG shares over time
2004 - American International Group $15,001 to $50,000
2005 - American International Group $2,002 to $30,000
2006 - American International Group $2,002 to $30,000
2007 - American International Group $1,001 to $15,000
2008 - NO AIG SHARES
BUT, HEY, INSIDER TRADING IS LEGAL FOR CONGRESS CRITTERS!
But who cares, right?
