It's midnight. You're all alone. You're hungry. What do you do?
What's your favorite thing to eat when no one is looking?
For me it's Kettle brand Organic Sea Salt Potato Chips. They must be organic or I'm NOT interested. Give me salt any day over sugar. What I would prefer is freshly-cut-potato french fries. Real ones. Homemade ones. Not frozen. But that means work at midnight... that's not going to happen. I need a quickie. Gourmet potato chips fit the ON DEMAND need.
I don't wash it down with a fine ale which is the common palate choice. I select a lovely pinot noir or cabernet to complete my salt addiction. A perplexing complement, I know. But, that's me. Ahhhh.... my midnight rendezvous is complete.
Shhhhhh... Just between you and me, I hide my chips in a cabinet no one else looks in. I admit, it's an addiction. I do plan to visit the Betty Ford Clinic someday for their Organic Potato Chip Addiction treatment but first in line is the recovery for chronic online shopping. When I save enough money.
For some it's ice cream, others it's chocolate or cold macaroni and cheese casserole eaten out of the fridge with a spoon and the door open. But...
What is your guilty midnight foodie pleasure? When no one's lookin'.
