She said she usually votes Democrat, but she may vote Republican. She's not sure yet.
She's a recently retired person in AZ, with lots of Republican friends.
She's thinking about going Republican because she's tired of people just having babies and living on welfare.
She also said she can attest to how bad Obama Care is because when she goes to the doctor, she's constantly moved to specialists without the individual doctors really listening to her needs.
Then she blamed the terrible congress on Obama.
She also complained about a certain bridge, and how that was just stimulus money down the drain.
So sadly, the welfare lie is working. I explained to her why that was a lie and how there really is a work requirement.
On the healthcare, I told her that issues she's having with her doctor have absolutely nothing to do with Obama care. If she's not happy, she needs to say something or change doctors or insurance providers.
It opened my eyes, in that many people like her probably assume that if they are not happy with their doctor, it's Obama's fault. They might just assume that Obama is totally in charge of their doctor visit.
I explained to her how the house works and how the senate works, and that it was impossible for Obama to get anything through Congress. Told her about how Republicans have signed a pledge not to raise taxes, making it so that they won't negotiate at all. So now she is going to do some research on Grover Norquist.
Then lastly I explained how the stimulus money stopped the free fall of the economy that Obama inherited.
Tonight I'm going to put some charts together and email her more information.
Also told her to stay away from Fox News, since that's just a right wing propaganda machine and not real news.
