In the video that follows, Gene Vashing speaks for "Coal, Oil, Gas America" about how environmentalists seek to destroy the job creation opportunities due to significant fossil fuel use.

Now you see we're just COGs in this great machine we call America ...

Coal, Oil, Gas ... Why, that's just nature.

Let's join Gene and fight to end "COGBashing".

PS: And, by supporting COG, like Romney-Ryan, fight to increase America's and Americans' energy prices and energy costs.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  The problem is environmentalists actually help him (0+ / 0-)

by being anti rural, and anti hunting, and anti ranching, and anti everything. Many would-be allies who care strongly about protecting the environment and conservation assume the enemy of my enemy outlook. As long as so called environmentalists continue to be anti rural they push people into the COG camp.

Imagine being a substance rancher/farmer taking a job in town to support the land that your family has grown up on for generations. The land you value so highly that there is not one scrap of trash, not even one tire track that you aren't acutely aware of. And an environmental group has their goal of eliminating not just you and your family's business but every single other person who has grown up doing as you do.

On the flip side is that guy who stops by and says hi while checking the pump jack once a month who works for that company that sends you a small check 4 times a year for access to that pump jack.

How big is your personal carbon footprint?

Blogging for a cogblocking future!  Sounds like a new signature line!  It's all in the messaging.  Seriously, the environmentalist message with regard to climate change could use some work.  The damn astro turf  coal export ads constantly running out here on the west coast is a perfect illustration of COG messaging at its "best".

If we really want to straighten out all this crap we need to really think about shit!

This is like the chickens having a joint press conference with Colonel Sanders to complain about a cat outside the hen house. The cat isn't the one who is turning you all into fired chicken, guys.

The biggest enemy of coal is the "clean burning fuel". The natural gas industry has been using that slogan (and lower prices)  to try to destroy coal, and it has worked like a charm. It is tough for coal miners, but the EPA and environmentalists don't have anything to do with it.
