Something the dog said
With a group as large and diverse as this one, it might be hard to decide on what kind of place we want to eat.
I had originally thought of the Center Court Cafe. I've never been there and it looks nice and the menu looks good for a vegetarian like me.
The problem is that this is a large group and people might be coming in at different times, so it might be hard to get a table large enough or tables close enough at the restaurant. I've rethought that plan, so here is what I propose. We meet at the earlier time, 4 or 4:30pm, chat, and when we get hungry, eat in the food court.
We can pull tables together and move around to talk with each other. This is something I liked at the Silver Spring Panera get together, we did a lot of switching around, which is better than being locked in to talk to the same person all evening -- even though I'm sure that person would be lovely, it would be nice to be able to talk with more people.
This way, everyone can buy the food they want to buy, eat earlier or a little later. If you're on a tight budget or special diet, you can even bring your own meal.
Then later on, for those of us who can stay longer, we can go to the Center Court Cafe and have coffee and/or dessert -- or dinner for those who are still hungry.
Please peruse the directory of places to dine and then tell me what you think in the comments.
And vote in the poll for fun.
