Having been on DKOS since 2006 it is sad how DKOS has devolved to a fan boy site for a failed politician and worse for the failed policies of that president which addressed none of the US problems despite being elected with a Congressional majority and a mandate for change.

DKOS now is simply a howling mob of sycophants who try to censor any adult political comment and discussion.  Likely the right wing mob that has taken over DKOS, using censorship, that most right wing of weapons, to make DKOS as irrelevant to political reform in the US as a politicians paid political website, knows it is in a political dead end.

See the screaming mob in action here.

DKOS Obama mobs

Mirroring the ignorance and close mindedness of Obama himself from the early attacks on "professional leftists" to more recent attack on Social Security funding with Reagonomics tax cuts to kill SS funding.  The arrogance of Obama's way or the highway has come back to haunt Obama as he has apparently booted his opportunity for re-election by bringing his hubris to the debate and giving Romney a chance, a very likely chance now as polls show a late reversal of fortune Obama likely cannot recover from, to win the presidency.

The DKOS answer is not talk about the problems Obama has caused in US policy over the last four years or the problems he has caused for US in 2012 election.  Will DKOS censorship and mob rule help Obama?  No.  It is likely the reason for his demise in a way, mirroring Obama's inability to take criticism and therefore not realize the problem.  To deny any problems and continue on the path of bad policy and hubris that now sees Obama plummeting in the polls.  All due to Obama's not standing up for working Americans in the policy or in the debate.

But what does DKOS stand for anymore?  Does it stand for Obama's failed policies of Bush tax cuts, "drill baby drill", Social Security cuts, Medicare/Medicaid cuts, attacks on teachers unions and $1T military budgets?  All what the DKOS villagers defend with their censorship in the name of Obama.

It would be interesting to see Kos post what policies he considers Democratic vs. simply the knee jerk support of "Democrats" who, without the label, pursue GOP policies.

What is the DKOS political platform?  What makes a politician worth supporting vs. the blind mob rule that has become DKOS of late.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
