It seems like forever since the debate, but today makes it a week. President Obama had a terrible Thursday and Friday, it caused a lot people on the left nervousness. After the Dem Convention Pres B.O. had a bounce over week and half, while Romney's debate bounce lasted between 3 to 4 days. Yes, it feels a lot longer. Today President Obama actually had good polls.
I have been a more moderate democrat for my life and this is the first time during a political campaign I was nervous. I became a big fan of this site during Obama v McCain of 2008. People were nervous then, but sometime we forget. I usually could turn off my computer to get away from the we are doooomed crowed, but my girlfriend is a 'treehugger dem', so I have to heard it from her too. Look, no one should think this would be an easy race, but POTUS has a lot going for him: GM, dead bin Laden, Dow above 13000, his charm etc. If POTUS has strong debate next week things will look great for Obama. The last debate is on foreign policy or what I like to call the bin Laden debate.
I digress, here's what Frank Newport said of Romney's faded bounce:
Gallup Editor-in-Chief Frank Newport reveals that Mitt Romney's post-debate bounce appears to have faded quickly. He also discusses Gallup's first likely voter results.
