To those who still have doubts about the ability of NC to remain blue, I say think again. Early voting started today and things have clearly outpaced 2008.
In Wake County (Raleigh), 2012 outpaces 2008 by 1 and a half times. Wake County is a blue County. The more, the merrier. The real numbers will be out tomorrow morning (Friday) and that will give people a better picture. Debbie Wassermann Schulz (DNC Chair woman) was on Campus at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. The RNC Chair was here as well. If the early numbers are an indication, I think this race will be too close to call, like in 2008.
One thing is already clear, the Mail-in ballots have been in favor of Republicans. But it has always been the case in every election.
There was news today that Mitt Romney has pulled out of here, because he is confident of winning. I doubt that is the case. OH is a bigger must win for him than NC. He can still win NC will fewer resources, but there is no way he wins OH without additional resources. But, I'll let him worry about that.
Here in NC the OFA headquarters are in full swing. 300,000 new voters were registered. Latinos, Minorities, Students are coming out in full force to vote for the President and the Governor.
