More Tagging tips:
A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?
Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.
If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office.
CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.
Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.
Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary:
Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House.
If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state
Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries
that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

It's tough keeping the race neck and neck when the Romney camp forgot to put their candidate into the empty suit that they put out on stage.

You'd have to look at exactly how the question was asked, but I suspect a lot of people might be neutral, so even if 49% say they trust him, I wouldn't immediately conclude that 51% say they don't trust him.
by dobergo on Mon Oct 22, 2012 at 09:17:42 PM PDT
If people find both Obama and Rmoney trustworthy, they are low info people. How anyone could believe that Rmoney is trustworthy, I have a bridge to sell them. Rmoney is just a scamming salesman. He doesn't know his product, he doesn't know the facts, and he has no problem lying all the time. How that can ever be Presidential is beyond me.

This time around I finally remembered to watch & record the CNN version with whatever they call those lines showing people's reactions. Obama was getting WAYYY more positive responses, even for stuff I wouldn't have expected him to get a positive response for.
I think now that we've had 3 debates, even the uninitiated have seen enough of Rmoney for the shine to start wearing off.

As Bush's mouthpiece he's very directly responsible for the deaths of tens if not hundreds of thousands of people, though I'm also very sure he never ever considers himself in that light.
Maybe it comes to him in his nightmares.
I hope so.

CNN just gave a result of their snap poll that's more general: Obama 48%, Romney 40%. Considering that most people are dug in for their candidate at this point, that's pretty good.

Romney just got annihilated on a personal and political level. He was completely outclassed by Obama. Obama's superior knowledge and sophistication on foreign policy matters was too much, and all Romney could do in the end was agree with Obama. Appeasement and agreement was the only safe place for Romney to go. Yet, in the process, Romney laid waste to most of his prior foreign policy pronouncements. He will now be forced to deal with the confusion and bewilderment surrounding his policy positions and his personal beliefs. Romney's quest for the Presidency died a slow painful death tonight.
